As part of the 2009 DAN Conference “Teaching the Abrahamic Religions:
Christianity in Dialogue with Judaism and Islam”,
the Australian Centre for Sufism and Irfanic Studies held a workshop on the Spiritual and Mystical dimension of
Islam, Sufism. Approximately 150 teachers from around Australia attended the conference whose main aim was
to help teachers enrich their own understanding and to equip them with practical strategies and resources
for helping their students grasp the core beliefs of each faith and the way they intersect and diverge. |

to educate Australians about Islam. A member of the Australian Centre for Sufism
